Assistant Manager – IT Internal Audit

About the role

Join Invesco’s Internal Audit team in Hyderabad as an Assistant Manager focusing on IT Internal Audit. You will support global audit activities, ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX testing and internal audits following Internal Audit standards and agile auditing principles.
• Evaluate design and effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), and key reports.
• Perform walkthroughs, document processes, and develop audit procedures.
• Identify control deficiencies and work with stakeholders to define remediation actions.
• Review control narratives, risk assessments, and testing strategies for completeness and accuracy.
• Support system implementation reviews by assessing risks and advising on appropriate controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors (Big 4) for testing and documentation support.
• Prepare high‑quality audit workpapers and clearly communicate audit observations.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in IT audit, SOX compliance, IT risk, or information security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA or CISSP (or actively pursuing) are preferred.
