About the role
The Assistant Manager – Front Desk supports the Front Office team at The St. Regis New Delhi, overseeing daily shift operations across Bell/Door staff, the switchboard and guest services. This entry‑level management position ensures high standards of guest satisfaction while helping to meet the property’s financial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coach Front Desk staff, covering duties in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
- Monitor daily operations to maintain service quality, resolve guest complaints and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
- Assist with financial and administrative tasks, including credit policy adherence and same‑day selling to maximize room revenue.
- Participate in department meetings, communicate performance expectations and track progress toward guest service goals.
- Supervise staffing levels to align with operational needs and financial targets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest services or front desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on integrity and teamwork.
- Ability to handle employee queries, coach staff and step into multiple front‑office roles as needed.
