Accounting & Reporting Analyst (General Accounting)

About the role

Join ABB’s Finance shared services team as an Accounting & Reporting Analyst. You will support accounts receivable and credit activities while managing record‑to‑report data to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities and record financial transactions.
• Investigate and reconcile account discrepancies.
• Prepare accounting analyses, reports, statements of accounts and month‑end closing activities.
• Produce reconciliations and sourcing statements for finance and business leaders.
• Uphold ABB’s core values of safety and integrity in daily work.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in Record‑to‑Report (R2R), general accounting and SAP within a shared‑services or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.
• Innovative use of MS Excel and MS Office.
