Accounting Manager

About the role

Talent Systems, a leading technology provider for the entertainment industry, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its India accounting operations. Reporting to the Global Finance Director, you will ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all India accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and tax compliance.
• Calculate monthly revenue in line with GAAP and supervise the purchase ledger.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations and maintain accounting schedules (deferred revenue, fixed assets, pre‑payments, accruals).
• Manage the monthly payroll process and inter‑company transactions.
• Handle statutory submissions, compile GST and TDS returns, and provide guidance on tax compliance.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes for India, ensuring timely completion.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
• Relevant accounting experience with prior managerial responsibility.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, procedures and regulations.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, hands‑on leadership style.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GST and TDS compliance.
