Venture Research Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Venture Research Consultant to drive innovation intelligence across our organization. You will work closely with corporate ventures, innovation labs, and external startups to uncover high‑potential opportunities and shape our technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, startups, and internal ventures for collaboration or co‑development.
• Conduct feasibility and readiness assessments, measuring market potential, technical and regulatory viability, and Business/Technology Readiness Levels (BRL/TRL).
• Perform capability gap analysis and benchmark competitive and startup landscapes.
• Continuously monitor technology breakthroughs, patents, research publications, and industry trends to surface whitespace opportunities.
• Develop and publish thought‑leadership content in partnership with industry experts, startups, and partners.
• Support innovation events, internal programs, and incubation initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in venture research, innovation strategy, consulting, or technology research.
• Background working with corporate ventures, innovation labs, startups, or VC/accelerator ecosystems.
• Exposure to IP analysis, patent landscaping, or academic research is a plus.
• Proven track record of publishing thought‑leadership in top‑tier outlets.
