Teams Telephony – Operations Automation & AI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Teams Telephony – Operations Automation & AI Engineer to design and implement AI‑driven operational solutions for Microsoft Teams services. The role combines cloud integration, workflow automation and generative AI to improve efficiency across our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop GenAI‑based operational solutions such as intelligent assistants and workflow orchestration.
• Design and build Azure integration components using Azure Functions, Azure Relay, Storage Services, REST APIs and Log Analytics.
• Create and maintain automation workflows with Power Automate to reduce manual effort.
• Provide operational engineering support for Microsoft Teams meetings, chat, collaboration and telephony platforms.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues and ensure stability of enterprise automation and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with global operations, engineering and product teams to identify automation and optimisation opportunities.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture notes, runbooks and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Microsoft Teams operations support and global support environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services (Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Relay, Logic Apps, Log Analytics) and workflow automation using Power Automate.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, large language models, embeddings and vector search.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure, AI, Automation or Microsoft 365 certifications are a plus.
