Taxation Manager

About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking a Taxation Manager to lead all aspects of direct taxation for the organization. The role ensures compliance with applicable laws, optimises tax positions and supports strategic business decisions across domestic and international operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate income tax returns, advance tax and other statutory filings.
• Oversee tax provisioning and deferred tax computation in line with Ind AS and IFRS.
• Develop and implement tax‑efficient strategies aligned with business objectives, advising on mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance for cross‑border transactions.
• Prepare and monitor working‑capital unblocking initiatives, including lower withholding tax certificates.
• Handle tax assessments, appeals and represent the company before tax authorities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Business teams to ensure tax compliance and engage external advisors and auditors.
• Implement internal controls, drive automation and improve tax processes.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 10–15 years of experience in direct taxation, preferably in a large corporate or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Income Tax Act, Transfer Pricing regulations, Ind AS/IFRS and international tax principles.
• Proven experience handling tax audits, assessments and litigation.
