Software Engineer – Embedded & Cloud Edge

About the role

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India, you will design, develop, modify and validate embedded and cloud‑edge software, applications and specialized utility programs that power next‑generation products. You will work closely with systems, hardware, architecture and test teams to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Apply software knowledge to create and validate embedded and cloud‑edge applications.
• Analyze user needs and translate them into software requirements.
• Design and implement small software features, perform unit testing and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews, regression testing and issue triage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams to achieve milestones.
• Document technical aspects of software projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java or Python.
• Experience with database management software, APIs and source‑code management tools (Git, Perforce or similar).
