About the role

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE-1) for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work on large‑scale, distributed systems that power millions of customers and sellers worldwide, gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge technology.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to design and launch innovative products and services.
• Build and maintain scalable, fault‑tolerant storage, indexing, and query systems.
• Develop solutions for running predictions on distributed platforms.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
