Software Development Engineer I – Seller Compliance

About the role

Amazon is building a new team in India focused on Seller Compliance. As a Software Development Engineer I, you will help design and deliver innovative products that enable sellers to meet Amazon’s compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to define strategy, roadmap, and feature set for Seller Compliance solutions.
• Partner with senior engineers to create robust technical designs and implement new product features.
• Apply best practices for software development, documentation, and code quality.
• Manage project priorities, planning, and stakeholder communication to meet tight schedules.
• Monitor production services and ensure operational excellence.

Required profile

• Curious, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
• 1+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
