Senior DevOps Engineer – Non-Conformance Management

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will own the end‑to‑end development and management of BASF’s Non‑Conformance Management (NCM) solution, which is built on SAP R/3 and S/4 platforms. You will work closely with solution consultants and business divisions to deliver stable, supportable, and innovative applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement application enhancements and new applications for NCM processes.
• Develop solutions using modern SAP technologies such as RAP, CDS views, and ABAP OData services.
• Ensure integration with SAP and non‑SAP systems through SAP API Management, CPI, and OpenAPI.
• Maintain system stability, perform testing, and support ongoing maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with consultants and business units to continuously improve the NCM solution.

• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

• Experience with agile delivery methods, especially Scrum.
• Ability to produce reliable unit tests and ensure solution robustness.
