Restorative Aide (Full‑time)

About the role

The Restorative Aide supports the planning, organization, and delivery of restorative programs for residents in a long‑term care setting. This full‑time, onsite position works closely with residents, families, volunteers, and multidisciplinary staff to enhance quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, organizing, and implementing meaningful restorative activities for residents.
• Promote a collaborative team environment and maintain effective communication with residents, families, volunteers, and other departments.
• Maintain accurate resident and departmental records, including assessments and program evaluations.
• Uphold the organization’s ethical standards and Code of Conduct while working with vulnerable adults.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Restorative certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with seniors, preferably in a long‑term care environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Energetic, compassionate, and able to solve problems creatively.
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset.
• Willingness to provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check (within six months).
