Reliability & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Reliability & Maintenance Engineer ensures smooth operation of all facility, electrical, mechanical and building systems through proactive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and effective vendor coordination. You will support a high‑volume industrial environment, maintaining conveyors, power distribution, generators and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance (PPM) checks and respond to corrective maintenance tickets.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot power distribution, lighting, transformers, wiring, relay logic, ladder diagrams and control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives and encoders.
• Monitor energy consumption, perform diesel generator upkeep and manage related permits.
• Conduct minor building refurbishments, furniture upkeep, and civil/plumbing corrective tasks.
• Oversee soft services like pest control, housekeeping and waste disposal.
• Provide daily reports on ticket closures, root‑cause analysis and maintain PPM documentation.
• Supervise agency staff and manage shift operations.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation & controls maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Vendor coordination experience and safety‑conscious mindset.
• Leadership experience in supervising shift staff.
