Purchasing Specialist – Procurement & Vendor Management

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring that raw materials, components and services are sourced accurately, on time, and at optimal cost to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify purchase requisitions for accuracy and authorization.
• Prepare, release and negotiate purchase orders, pricing, delivery, credit and payment terms.
• Order and schedule raw materials and child parts, expediting orders as needed.
• Evaluate vendor capacity and performance regularly, maintaining strong relationships.
• Perform inventory control duties and monitor reorder levels in MRP systems.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation in line with company policies.
• Utilize e‑tools such as E‑Auctions, Procube, SRM and RFQ processes for CAPEX, spares and other items.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, follow up on payments and support cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Assist with ISO/IATF and internal audit preparations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MRO, CAPEX or project purchasing within an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess vendor capabilities and negotiate effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory management and MRP systems.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and compliance.
