Production Engineer – Shift Supervisor

About the role

Tata Electronics Private Limited is building India’s first AI‑enabled semiconductor foundry. We are seeking a Production Engineer to lead shift operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive efficiency in our high‑tech manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production operations during assigned shifts.
• Supervise and guide production operators to meet daily targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Prepare and submit shift reports, highlighting productivity and challenges.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise workflow, reduce downtime and improve yield.
• Train and mentor staff to improve efficiency and skill levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in production supervision or shift management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work rotational shifts and manage diverse teams.
