Production Associate – CNC Operator

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Production Associate to operate CNC equipment and support transformer insulation manufacturing. You will work on the shop floor, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily and weekly production targets and achieve them on time and with required quality.
• Operate CNC machines and molding equipment to manufacture transformer insulation components.
• Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure personal and team safety by following safe working practices.
• Report production data, calculate output, and estimate future material needs.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends.
• Maintain compliance with customer specifications and government regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep equipment operational.
• Maintain the product and process database.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑4 years of experience as a machine operator, preferably in transformer insulation manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methodologies and standards.
• Ability to work in a team and on rotating shifts.
• Excellent attention to detail and a results‑driven attitude.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, Poka‑Yoke, or lean manufacturing is a plus.
