Product Pricing Senior Manager – Protection

About the role

The Product Pricing Senior Manager – Protection will lead the pricing strategy for Santander Insurance’s protection portfolio (auto, home, health and related products). Based in Boadilla del Monte, the role focuses on maximizing product value, profitability and customer satisfaction across the Santander ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute pricing strategies for the protection product line, aligning with business goals, regulatory requirements and technology capabilities.
• Act as functional product owner, prioritising initiatives, managing backlogs and ensuring timely delivery in an agile environment.
• Analyse market trends, customer data and competitive intelligence to drive growth and improve conversion rates.
• Collaborate with omnichannel distribution teams (digital, branches, call centre) to simplify journeys and scale experimentation.
• Embed a data‑driven culture, using analytics to inform decisions and measure impact on revenue and loyalty.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in product pricing or product management, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on value creation and customer centricity.
• Hands‑on experience working in corporate agile environments and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical abilities and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
