Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support material handling operations at Hitachi Energy. This entry‑level position involves moving, storing, and tracking materials and products using manual methods and low‑complexity equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Move and store materials and products using manual labor, forklifts, conveyors and other low‑complexity machinery.
• Handle and maintain the flow of materials according to established guidelines.
• Log incoming and outgoing material movements accurately.
• Operate motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Follow standard procedures and report any deviations.

Required profile

• Entry‑level para‑professional (S15) with basic knowledge of job procedures and tools.
• Limited work experience or vocational education related to material handling.
• Works under close to moderate supervision.
• Ability to communicate basic information clearly.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Conveyor operation.
• Use of basic material handling equipment.
• Inventory logging and tracking.
• Understanding of safety guidelines for material handling.
