Plant Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Plant Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of plant equipment and machinery. You will work closely with production teams, management, and suppliers to develop maintenance strategies that minimise downtime and support organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults, creating and executing maintenance plans to reduce disruptions.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and propose reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with production, management, and suppliers to align maintenance plans with business priorities.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations, identifying and mitigating hazards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and procedures supporting maintenance activities.
• Participate in ongoing training programmes to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and equipment operation.
• Ability to analyse information, diagnose problems, and develop effective solutions.
