Packing Machine Operator

About the role

The Packing Machine Operator will work on‑site in Tamil Nadu, India, handling the set‑up, operation and monitoring of packaging equipment for fast‑moving consumer goods. This full‑time position focuses on delivering accurate, safe and efficient packaging while supporting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and load materials onto packing machines according to production schedules.
• Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical adjustments to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine checks, clean the work area and ensure the machine environment remains orderly.
• Record production data accurately and report any issues to supervisors, quality control and maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Experience operating packing or production machinery in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (preferred but not mandatory).
• Basic mechanical aptitude for adjusting settings and identifying simple faults.
• Understanding of GMP, safety protocols and basic quality inspection methods.
• Ability to read work instructions and production schedules in English or the local language.
• Secondary education (10th/12th) completed; vocational training in machine operation is an advantage.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle materials safely.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or overtime as required.
