Packaging Designer

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative and detail‑oriented Packaging Designer to join the Nykaa Beauty Own Brands team. You will conceptualise and deliver premium, innovative packaging designs for beauty and personal care products, ensuring strong brand storytelling and consumer appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain visually engaging web content for Nykaa Beauty, Nykaa Fashion and sub‑brands.
• Design compelling graphics for social media platforms, keeping brand consistency.
• Develop creative assets for marketing campaigns, including email templates, banners, brochures and other promotional materials.
• Conceptualise and design logos for new products and sub‑brands.
• Design innovative and attractive packaging that balances aesthetics and functionality.
• Create graphics for in‑store displays, signage and promotional materials.
• Provide art direction and creative input for photoshoots, video shoots and other multimedia projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
• 2‑6 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in beauty, fashion or lifestyle industries.
• Strong portfolio showcasing packaging, branding, typography and visual systems.
• Exceptional aesthetic sense with a solid understanding of typography, layout, colour and materials.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment while maintaining quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
