MEP Lead - Operations & Maintenance

About the role

The MEP Lead will oversee all mechanical, electrical and plumbing operations and maintenance activities to ensure a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment for clients and staff. This senior position combines technical expertise with team leadership and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all service‑related equipment according to management standards.
• Develop, track, and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for the building and its systems.
• Monitor energy and water consumption, implement conservation measures, and perform failure analysis.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers, minimizing downtime.
• Coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely project completion and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare budgets, manage capital expenditures, float tenders, and conduct cost comparisons.
• Identify and develop alternate vendors to achieve cost‑effective execution.
• Drive a positive site culture, manage client relationships, and handle emergencies with a focus on safety.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 15‑18 years of experience in MEP operations and maintenance.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical works and applicable safety codes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.
