Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Linxens is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and efficiency of its production equipment across electronics and mechanical systems. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, supporting a global leader in micro‑connectors and IoT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Locate and diagnose equipment failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Maintain machinery such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines using testing instruments, hand and power tools, and precision‑measuring devices.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and control circuits, testing for safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect wiring for shielding and grounding, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist engineers and operators in problem diagnosis and corrective action.
• Prepare new machines and production equipment for operation.
• Follow a strict preventive‑maintenance schedule to minimise downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and production floor.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the semiconductor, electronics, or mechanical industry.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications as required by Maharashtra state.
• Experience with automation controls, including PLCs and operator interfaces.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
