Legal Specialist – Contracts

About the role

Join 3M's Global Legal Service Center in Bangalore as a Legal Specialist focusing on contracts. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate master services, purchasing, pricing, and other commercial contracts.
• Identify and escalate key contractual risks and issues.
• Prepare legal summaries and term sheets for contracts.
• Support business teams during negotiations with third parties.
• Provide contract status updates to the Contracts Center of Excellence.
• Assist in developing contract playbooks, guidelines, and self‑service tools.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline and improve the contracting process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience drafting and negotiating vendor or procurement contracts in a law firm, corporate legal department, or contract service provider.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Legal authorization to work in India without sponsorship.
