Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal services to Bosch Group India, focusing on the purchase of goods and services as well as software‑related agreements. The role is responsible for mitigating legal risks, ensuring compliance, and supporting business continuity through effective contract management and legal advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts to support business objectives.
• Ensure all contractual agreements comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Handle in‑licensing of software, SaaS, PaaS and other cloud‑computing agreements.
• Provide legal advice and support to functions regarding purchase and service agreements.
• Proactively identify and assess potential legal risks to minimise liability exposure.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure agreements adhere to the legal framework.
• Collaborate with the Senior Legal Counsel to conduct risk analysis on potential legal issues.
• Evaluate risk factors related to business decisions and implement mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Legal background with experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Familiarity with procurement and software licensing agreements.
• Ability to identify, assess and mitigate legal risks.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
