Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to head our Electrical Specialists team, delivering high‑quality engineering and design for major LNG, refinery, petrochemical and related process facilities. The role combines technical oversight with project‑level management to ensure timely, budget‑conscious delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Specialists group, guaranteeing work meets quality standards, schedule and budget.
• Ensure technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures and other electrical deliverables.
• Execute work in line with contract procedures, company design‑safety instructions and relevant standards.
• Promote safe engineering practices and coordinate safety reviews with other disciplines.
• Capture and apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve processes.
• Maintain clear information flow across electrical and other disciplines to ensure design uniformity.
• Secure adequate manpower and technical competence for assigned areas.
• Advise the Discipline Head on staffing needs to meet schedules within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience on LNG, refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power or pharmaceutical plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and familiarity with international codes and standards.
• Proficiency with electrical system study and calculation software such as ETAP or SKM.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and guide a team of engineers and designers.
