L1 IT Help Desk Engineer (Contract)

About the role

Mizuho Global Services India is seeking a motivated L1 Help Desk Engineer on a contract basis. You will provide first‑line technical support for internal users, handling issues related to Azure, Intune, Zscaler, and Active Directory within a banking‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve user tickets for password resets, application unlocking, and general IT support.
• Manage Azure and Intune services, including device enrollment and policy enforcement.
• Administer Active Directory, ADFS, and Group Policy objects.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows Server and VMware platforms.
• Support disaster‑recovery (DR) environments and participate in DR test exercises.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 27001, and internal policies.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in L1 help‑desk or technical support roles.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, on‑call schedules, and a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent are desirable.
