IT Consultant – SAP WMS

About the role

As part of Infosys’ consulting team, you will work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, design innovative SAP WMS solutions and drive successful deployments. The role blends solution design, configuration, and client interaction to deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose customer issues, propose and design SAP WMS solutions aligned with business goals.
• Develop and own sections of proposal documents, providing input on solution architecture.
• Plan and execute configuration activities, conduct conference‑room pilots and resolve design queries.
• Deliver product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concept workshops and prepare effort estimates that fit client budgets.
• Lead small‑scale projects and contribute to unit‑level initiatives to enhance solution quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and logical thinking with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Good knowledge of software configuration management and awareness of latest technology trends.
• Understanding of financial processes and pricing models for IT projects.
• Ability to assess current processes, identify improvement areas and recommend technology solutions.
• Experience in client interfacing, project and team management.
• Domain knowledge in one or two industry sectors is a plus.
