Income Auditor – Hotel Finance

About the role

The Income Auditor ensures accurate financial reporting and maximises revenue for a Hilton hotel. Working closely with the General Manager and finance team, the auditor supports all departments through audit, analysis and budgeting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute accounting duties in line with Hilton brand standards and recognized accounting practices.
• Maximise revenue collection, settle debts, and minimise costs while maintaining transaction integrity.
• Develop and implement revenue‑generation initiatives and advise departments on cost‑saving opportunities.
• Audit financial transactions between the hotel and guests, and provide accurate forecasts and analysis.
• Ensure timely and correct remuneration for all team members.
• Maintain close collaboration with the GM, Director of Operations, Revenue Manager and Finance Business Unit.
• Plan and conduct financial, operational and compliance audits to assess internal controls.
• Perform budgetary functions, prepare the annual audit plan and supervise audit personnel.
• Support other operating departments with financial data, budgeting and interpretation of results.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hotel finance operations.
• Experience in auditing, budgeting and financial analysis within a hospitality environment.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with multiple departments and senior management.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
• Leadership capability to supervise audit staff and manage audit projects.
