Housekeeping Associate

About the role

The Housekeeping Associate will ensure guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas at Hometel Chandigarh are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Working closely with the housekeeping team, you will support daily operations and contribute to a pleasant guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deep clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors following brand standards.
• Replenish rooms with fresh linens, towels, toiletries, and tea/coffee supplies.
• Inspect room fixtures such as lights, air‑conditioning and plumbing, reporting any issues to maintenance.
• Organise housekeeping carts, manage inventory of chemicals and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for extra amenities or assistance with a courteous attitude.
• Secure and report any lost and found items according to hotel protocols.

Required profile

• Fresh graduates with a completed diploma are welcome.
• 0‑1 year of housekeeping or room attendant experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a polite, helpful demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices.
