Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly trustworthy, experienced Computer Network Security Engineer to join Knowdis.ai in Delhi. You will own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our network security infrastructure, protecting our AI‑driven e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and potential breaches; lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and rapid remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and data‑protection laws.
• Partner with internal IT, engineering and data‑science teams to harden systems, enforce Zero‑Trust access controls and elevate the overall security posture.
• Act as the primary custodian of IT security, educate staff on best practices, mitigate insider threats and foster a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Network Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst or similar role managing complex IT infrastructure.
• Based in Delhi (or willing to relocate immediately) and able to work onsite in a hybrid model.
• High integrity, autonomy and the ability to take full ownership of security initiatives.

Required skills

• Next‑Gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Deep knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching.
• VPN architectures: IPsec and SSL.
• IDS/IPS implementation and management.
• SIEM tools.
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Network monitoring and threat detection platforms.
• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
