Compliance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure operational integrity across all retail stores and warehouses. The role involves auditing, verifying audit reports, investigating discrepancies and supporting compliance projects to maintain adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements and SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular and surprise audits of retail stores and warehouse locations, evaluating SOP compliance, safety, hygiene and inventory controls.
• Review and approve ASM monthly audit reports, cross‑checking inventory records and operational practices.
• Prepare structured audit reports, highlight findings, recommend corrective actions and track closure of issues.
• Investigate operational discrepancies such as stock loss, process violations or staff misconduct and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments.
• Escalate unresolved non‑compliance issues to management and ensure confidentiality of findings.
• Support cross‑functional compliance projects and process‑improvement initiatives, identifying gaps and recommending operational enhancements.
• Travel extensively (15–25 days per month) to perform field audits and verification.

Required profile

• Strong auditing and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Problem‑solving and investigative mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently for on‑site audits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with audit tools and documentation systems.
