CMDB Administrator

About the role

The CMDB Administrator is responsible for maintaining the Configuration Management Database and ensuring accurate configuration data across the organization’s IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and continuously improve the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and alignment with IT assets.
• Leverage ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM modules to automate discovery and populate asset inventory.
• Integrate the CMDB with other IT management tools and support change, incident, and problem processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to map servers, cloud resources, networking components, and enterprise applications.
• Apply ITIL/ITSM best practices to manage configuration items and support service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong experience in CMDB administration and configuration management.
• Hands‑on exposure to ServiceNow CMDB and/or ITOM.
• Familiarity with discovery processes, asset inventory management, and system integrations.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Experience or exposure to Axonius is a plus.
