Building Operations & Security Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Building Operations & Security Manager to lead the protection of our assets, infrastructure and personnel. The role combines physical security oversight with safety and environmental health responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Physical Security Policy and related procedures.
• Oversee asset protection, workplace violence prevention, access control systems and video surveillance operations.
• Lead investigations of security incidents, accidents and sensitive events, and prepare timely incident and FIR reports.
• Maintain relationships with local, state and central law‑enforcement agencies.
• Manage vendor contracts, monitor performance against SLAs, and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Prepare OPEX and CAPEX budgets for property, EHS and security operations.
• Ensure compliance with OHS&W policies, conduct risk assessments (JSA, HIRA) and enforce permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Organise and supervise regular training sessions and safety briefings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in physical security, facilities or building operations management.
• Strong knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with law‑enforcement and external security partners.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor management and reporting (MIS).
