Automation Engineer – Playwright & TypeScript

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain test automation solutions using Playwright and TypeScript. The role involves close collaboration with development and product teams to ensure high‑quality releases in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts with Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Implement API test automation using Rest Assured or comparable tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation strategy and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide test estimates, and report test results.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related testing frameworks.
• Strong background in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG for functional testing.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing tools such as ReadyAPI, Postman, and Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub) and Agile development practices.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and drive automation initiatives.
