Assistant Professor – Foundation Program (Reading & Writing)

About the role

CEPT University seeks Assistant Professors and Academic Associates for its Foundation Program, focusing on reading and writing skills for first‑year students across architecture, planning, technology and design disciplines. The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and coordination of student assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct foundation studios for interdisciplinary student batches.
• Refine curriculum and develop innovative teaching and learning materials.
• Coordinate documentation, curation, and exhibition of student work.
• Prepare and administer admission examination papers and manage the admissions assessment process.
• Oversee grading, result processing, grievance redressal, and provide remedial teaching support.
• Lead the conceptualization, coordination, and delivery of the sketching component within the curriculum.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across academic units and represent units in curriculum planning initiatives.
