About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager – Agency Sales will be responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned territory, working closely with channel partners and internal teams to drive growth for Aditya Birla Health Insurance.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure sales target achievement in the given territory and with the channel partner.
  • Liaise internally and externally to achieve desired results.
  • Manage a direct team of 8 members.
  • Drive sales through the Zonal Structure and coordinate with the Relationship Head.
  • Monitor fresh Gross Written Premium (GWP) volumes – Rs 200 M (FY21), Rs 390 M (FY22), Rs 470 M (FY23).
  • Develop specific solutions for SME and start‑up segments to capture market share.

Required profile

  • Experience in agency sales within the health insurance sector.
  • Understanding of a competitive market with multiple private and nationalised players.
  • Ability to develop tailored solutions for SME and start‑up customers.
  • Strong liaison and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reporting to Deputy Area Manager (Poornata) and functional reporting to Sales – Agency sales department.
