Art Teacher – Bangalore

About the role

Openhouse is looking for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to deliver engaging, high‑quality art classes for children across its Bangalore learning centres. You will prepare and conduct sessions that include drawing, painting, craft and mixed‑media projects, while fostering a supportive and creative learning environment. The role offers flexible placement at any of the centres or apartment complexes in Bangalore, with a choice of weekday (3 PM‑7 PM) or weekend (9 AM‑1 PM) shifts, totaling 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct Art classes using the Openhouse curriculum, covering drawing, painting, craft and mixed‑media activities.
• Monitor student progress, maintain documentation and provide regular feedback to parents through progress reports.
• Interact with parents during feedback sessions, workshops and events, and collaborate with the management team on student trials and admissions.
• Prepare students for showcases, exhibitions and events, conduct rehearsals when required, and participate in training and team meetings.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and curiosity.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit different age groups and skill levels, ensuring each child receives personalized attention.
