Agentic AI Architect (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an Agentic AI Architect to define and maintain the enterprise reference architecture for autonomous agents. You will ensure seamless interoperability between Azure AI Foundry services and custom open‑source runtimes on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Agent Backbone reference architecture.
• Own technical standards, including the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent‑to‑Agent (A2A) communication.
• Design the central semantic router on AKS that interprets user intent and orchestrates cross‑platform agent workflows.
• Create “Golden Path” blueprints that combine Databricks Unity Catalog data context with stateful agent swarms using LangGraph or AutoGen.
• Partner with platform teams (SAP, Salesforce) to co‑architect Tier 3‑4 cross‑domain workflows and validate high‑risk deployments.
• Embed zero‑trust security principles into agent frameworks via the Guardrail Engine.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of agent design patterns (ReAct, Plan‑and‑Solve, Swarms, Hierarchical Teams).
• Expertise in Azure AI Foundry and AKS for hybrid solutions.
• Strong experience with Databricks and exposing data pipelines as tools for agents.
• Proven ability to design event‑driven architectures (CloudEvents, Kafka) and robust APIs (FastAPI, GraphQL, MCP).
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and mentor senior engineers.
