Agent Engineer

About the role

SuprSend is looking for its first dedicated AI Engineer to own and evolve its AI agent products. You will work closely with the founders and core engineering team, shipping features to real customers and taking full ownership of the agent stack from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Agent, Slack Agent, and Agent Plugin products, as well as the underlying MCP servers and applications.
• Build multimodal capabilities that transform uploaded documents, images, and eventually voice into SuprSend assets such as workflows, segments, templates, and translations.
• Design reliable tool‑calling agents with robust grounding, error handling, least‑privilege access, server‑side permission enforcement, and human approval for state‑mutating actions.
• Own context engineering for retrieval, memory, and context compaction to keep agents accurate and cost‑effective as data grows.
• Create and manage a three‑tier evaluation harness covering fast CI checks, nightly regression suites, and production drift monitoring.
• Run agents in production with full observability, failure handling, prompt/model versioning, and performance optimization.
• Operate MCP servers and associated authentication and tooling that enable external AI clients to use SuprSend safely.

Required profile

• Proven experience building AI‑driven products and shipping them to production.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Comfort collaborating directly with founders and senior engineers.
• Ability to design secure, reliable systems with clear permission models.
