Welder IV – Advanced Welding Operations

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking an experienced Welder IV to join its global energy projects. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality welding work while adhering to strict performance, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate welding tools and equipment according to moderately complex specifications.
• Plan and sequence welding operations to meet project timelines.
• Monitor, control, and adjust welding processes to ensure output matches blueprints and specifications.
• Teach and mentor junior welders on best practices.
• Detect welding issues early, report them, and implement corrective actions.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Professional education or apprenticeship in mechanical or welding disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven welding experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Welding / NDE manufacturing processes.
• Pressure‑containing welding on super duplex and stainless steel.
• Gas‑Metal Arc Welding (GMAW).
• Gas‑Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
