UC Operations Engineer – MS Teams & Devices

About the role

The Unified Communications Operations Engineer will manage and support Bosch's enterprise communication platforms and end‑user devices, focusing on Microsoft Teams and related hardware. You will ensure high service availability for a global user base while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft Teams platform, including TCQ, Whiteboard, rollouts and configurations.
• Support endpoint devices such as desk phones, conference room phones, and collaboration hardware.
• Troubleshoot personal devices including headsets, speakerphones, and peripherals.
• Provide operational support for a global user base, ensuring high availability and optimal user experience.
• Perform proactive monitoring, issue identification, and resolution to minimize disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with security and data‑protection policies across all services.
• Support feature rollouts, updates, and platform enhancements for Teams and associated devices.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Automate and optimise tasks using PowerShell scripting and standard tools.
• Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams and unified communications platforms.
• Proven experience in enterprise‑level UC operations.

Required skills

• Microsoft Teams administration and configuration.
• Endpoint device management (desk phones, conference room phones, collaboration hardware).
• Personal device troubleshooting (headsets, speakerphones, peripherals).
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Proactive monitoring and incident resolution.
