Technical Consultant SAP Datasphere (m/f/d)

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad as a Technical Consultant for SAP Datasphere. You will design, implement and continuously improve data flows, models and analytical datasets, supporting BASF’s digital transformation in the chemical industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data flow, data models and analytical datasets in SAP Datasphere.
• Develop and enhance technical solutions using ABAP OO and RAP on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Ensure robust data governance, access control and security configurations.
• Collaborate with business, functional, architecture and cloud infrastructure teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in agile product development, incident management and technical innovation initiatives.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools such as Joule for Developers and GitHub Copilot to accelerate coding.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business IT or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in SAP development, technical consulting or software engineering.
• Experience working in agile, international environments; finance‑related SAP experience is a plus.
