Tech Help Engineer Level 1 – IT Service Desk

About the role

As a Tech Help Engineer Level 1 you will be the first point of contact for internal users, providing timely IT support across multiple channels in a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to Service Desk requests, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and document incidents.
• Manage user lifecycle activities such as account provisioning, access management, and device setup/de‑provisioning.
• Administer endpoint technologies including Intune, Active Directory, workstation configurations, application deployments and policy management.
• Coordinate priority incidents, participate in on‑call support rota and ensure effective incident communication.
• Maintain technical documentation, optimise workstation environments and drive continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with ability to deliver timely issue resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment while safeguarding confidential information.

Required skills

• Hardware, software, mobile device and OS support (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Administration of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Admin Centre and Google Workspace.
• Networking and endpoint security troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, malware, phishing, virus incidents).
• Support for collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft 365 applications.
