Team Lead Operations – OpenData (Mumbai)

About the role

Reporting to the Director, Product – OpenData, India, the Team Lead Operations – OpenData will manage and support the Data Stewardship team responsible for maintaining the quality of the India OpenData offering within the APAC region. In addition to leading the team, you will perform Data Steward responsibilities such as researching and updating healthcare provider records and verifying information with hospitals and group practices.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and retain Data Stewards.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
• Assign work and manage resources to meet project deadlines.
• Create and improve processes to ensure high‑quality data.
• Audit the quality of work completed by Data Stewards.
• Ensure the team meets productivity and quality targets.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Data Stewardship team.
• Report team progress and key updates to the manager.
• Handle additional data stewardship tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in the relevant domain.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or commercial sector in India.
• Good understanding of the Indian healthcare market.
• Experience leading or supporting a service desk or operations team.
• Experience leading, coaching, or training teams.
• Experience creating or improving processes to increase efficiency.
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
