Tax Transformation Consultant – SAP FICO/SD & DRC E‑Invoicing

About the role

Deloitte’s Tax Transformation Consulting practice is looking for a Tax Consultant II to help clients modernise their tax operations using SAP technologies. You will work across tax, process and technology teams to design, configure and implement solutions that improve compliance, reporting and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of tax technology and transformation projects for clients across industries.
• Gather, document and analyse business, process and system requirements for tax‑related initiatives.
• Assist with configuration, testing, validation and implementation of tax technology solutions, especially SAP DRC and eDocument Framework components.
• Prepare data analyses, reconciliations and reporting outputs to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with tax, technology and client stakeholders to identify and drive process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in tax technology, tax operations, tax transformation or tax process support.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Hands‑on experience configuring SAP DRC and eDocument Framework (electronic document types, statutory reporting definitions, output determination, compliance monitoring).
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, PI/PO or related middleware for connecting SAP to tax authority platforms and e‑invoicing networks.
• Ability to map ERP data to reporting formats like XML, JSON, UBL or jurisdiction‑specific structures.
