Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will manage daily planning activities across materials, production, inventory and logistics to ensure internal and external customer expectations are met. The role operates on the US night shift (5 PM‑2 AM IST) supporting Cummins’ supply chain in India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily operational planning processes, monitoring KPIs and adjusting parameters in the planning system.
• Identify potential supply chain failures, mitigate risks and drive tactical improvements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain master production schedules, part change control, and PFEP to align procurement, production and replenishment.
• Analyze order and supplier performance, expedite procurement signals and generate metrics reports.

Required profile

• College or university degree required; minimal to intermediate experience in supply chain planning.
• Ability to work night shift (5 PM‑2 AM IST) and coordinate with internal and external suppliers.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
