About the role
Spera is looking for a detail‑oriented Sr. Accountant with hands‑on experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and account reconciliations. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities and supporting month‑end closing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day AR, AP, and GL accounting activities.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations.
- Handle journal entries, accruals, provisions, and pre‑payments.
- Support month‑end closing activities and investigate accounting discrepancies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
- Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct.
