Specialist Assistant Manager – External Communications (Hyderabad)

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Specialist Assistant Manager to lead external communications initiatives that support strategic growth. Based in Hyderabad, you will work closely with leadership, business units, and agency partners to shape the firm’s public narrative across key media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support leadership, business, marketing, and stakeholder teams on external communications tied to growth priorities.
• Develop and execute media relations content such as news releases, blog posts, pitches, and interview talking points.
• Track news trends, identify relevant reporters, and secure media opportunities for Deloitte leaders and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Utilise communications platforms and measurement tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Meltwater) to report on and innovate external communications activities.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in external communications, public relations, or corporate communications.
• Master’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and executing communications strategies for large B2B organisations.
