About the role

As a Software Development Manager on the DynamoDB team, you will lead a group of engineers to build reliable, highly scalable distributed systems that power mission‑critical workloads for global customers.

Key responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers to design, build and operate highly scalable distributed systems for DynamoDB.
Define and execute product roadmaps using Agile methodologies, delivering new value‑add services and cross‑team projects.
Own operational excellence by measuring performance, implementing monitoring, alerting and fault‑tolerance strategies.

Required profile

3+ years of engineering team management experience and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
Proven track record delivering multi‑tier web services and operating mission‑critical, highly available systems.
Strong experience in Agile product management and technical project delivery.

Required skills

AWS DynamoDB and broader Amazon Web Services ecosystem.
Design and implementation of distributed, fault‑tolerant systems.
Agile methodologies, product roadmap creation, and metrics‑driven operations.
